Live, digital, remote

Visual scribing is also called graphic facilitation or graphic recording. Scribing transforms abstract content into super easy-to-understand images. By nature, humans are “visual learners” – basically we’re far more likely to remember and understand stuff if we see it. Teaming pictures and words stimulates the emotional, creative and logical parts of our brain.

Basically an artist will draw live during your event. Afterwards, we will send you a digital file of the illustration which can be used on social media and in all your communication channels. You will own the copyrights. Visual Scribing can be done on paper or digitally and it is really effective for meetings, presentations, and pitches.

CANON \ Live Scribing

Each year Canon hosts the ‘Future Book Forum’ with the aim of empowering communities of readers and enabling publishers to find new growth. Visitors and speakers from all over the world, explore new technologies and trends in both digital and printed books. Visual Scribing captured the key points of conversations in real time and translated them into a massive knowledge wall. The illustrations were shared on social media and printed in a book which was given to all participants as a souvenir.

THE FRANCIS CRICK INSTITUTE \ Live Scribing

The Francis Crick Institute must be one of the architectonically most stunning buildings in London and is a great place to work. The Institute is dedicated to understanding the fundamental biology underlying health and disease. Visual Scribing was part of the EM Symposium 2019, visualising the latest developments in the world of Electron microscopy and proving that our scribes can translate even the most complex topics into comprehensive images.

MICROSOFT SURFACE LAUNCH \ Digital Scribing

Together with writers, Greg James (BBC Radio 1) and Chris Smith, our scribe, David Vignolli created a children’s book live. David used the new Microsoft Surface to digitally create the artwork during the day.

BANK OF ENGLAND / Digital Scribing

We travelled the roads and railways with the Bank of England to capture the issues which affect the day to day lives of the British public through our drawings. The Bank of England wanted to understand how the economy is impacting the lives of everyday people. Always equipped with an iPad Pro, we provided graphic facilitation of meetings between representatives of the Bank and the community.
